Hey, anyone who`s talking about how genius or great musician Eddie is. hmpf... don`t make me laugh guys. this eddie is obviusly a poor musician(and as a result, he got nothing to do with being genius), but obviously a great fretwanker. I know, you`re gonna say he invented tapping(so what? he didn`t invent guitar playin`). but he`s totally overrated. he`s being just a fuckin` clown on stage. it`s ridiculous!

I think this solo. Given the fact Van Halen are amazing. Is abit messy. Doesn't sound that good. In places it sounds a mess! But overall Eddie Van Halen is a genius but so is Hendrix! Why can't people stop comparing guitarists? Everyone has their own style!!

You really can't compare the two, They were both god's in their own right, Van Halen with his bone-shattering riffs and Hendrix with his tone and note-for-note skill....

also, eddie uses his thumb and middle finger, instead of thumb and first finger to hold the pick when he does that.

to tremolo pick or speed pick, its easiest to rest your palm on the bridge of your guitar for startersthis is jut to strengthen your hand. start slowly picking up and down on each string, until you pick up speed. |
